Scotty's Table in Missoula serves all, selectively

Scott Gill, 43, owns and cooks at Scotty's Table, located at 529 S. Higgins Ave.
Gill has attended a few culinary art classes but gathered most of his restaurant knowledge from real-life experience. Originally from northern California, Gill grew up in the restaurant business, helping his mother and sister at a casual eatery. Because it was the only life he'd ever known, he continued dabbling in the food industry as an adult.
He found Missoula while consulting for an area restaurant and fell in love with the place. It fits his lifestyle better than California did - a lifestyle that has to include time for his 5-year-old son.
"I have a bistro but I also have a family," Gill said.
